Charity Consultancy Award – Terms and Conditions

1. The Offer

The award consists of one lot of £1,000 (ex VAT) of strategic consultancy support, provided free of charge by Underpin Consultants Ltd to a selected charity, CIC, or charitable organisations.

The consultancy will be delivered in a format and scope agreed between Underpin Consultants and the selected organisation and may include strategy review, operational mapping, or planning support.

The prize equates to 10 hours of consultancy work. No cash alternative is available.

Deadline is 30th April at 11:59pm

2. Eligibility

Applications are open to:

• UK-registered charities, CIOs, CICs, or not-for-profit organisations
• Organisations able to engage constructively in a strategic consultancy process

The following are not eligible:

• For-profit businesses
• Individuals
• Organisations currently engaged in paid o free consultancy with Underpin Consultants

3. Application Process

Applicants must submit through the form on this web page:

• A written response of no more than 150 words
• The response must address:
  • the challenge being faced
  • why it matters now
  • how strategic advice would help

Applications received after the published deadline will not be considered.

4. Selection Process

The successful applicant will be selected by an independent judge, not by Underpin Consultants or Lewis English.

The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

Underpin Consultants reserves the right not to make an award if no suitable application is received.

5. Delivery of Consultancy

• The consultancy will be delivered within six months of the award being made, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Delivery may be remote or in person, subject to availability and location.
• The consultancy is advisory in nature and does not guarantee specific outcomes, funding success, or organisational performance improvements.
• The funding is the equivalent of 15 hours of consultancy work and includes additional hours for setup and meetings.

The recipient organisation is responsible for implementing any recommendations.

6. No Obligation or Future Commitment

• Acceptance of the award does not create any obligation to purchase future services from Underpin Consultants.
• Underpin Consultants will not use the award as a sales or marketing lever towards the recipient organisation.

7. Publicity

• The recipient organisation agrees that its name and a high-level description of the award may be used for publicity purposes.
• No confidential or sensitive information will be shared without explicit written consent.

8. Data Protection

All application data will be used solely for the purposes of administering this award and will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

Underpin Consultants reserves the right to retain the information for up to 3 months, and send emails related to the competition, and an additional email outlining a no-obligation free consultation email. Information will be deleted three months after deadline.

9. Amendments

Underpin Consultants reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary, provided any changes do not materially disadvantage applicants.
